Japanese model brand PLUM (プラム) announced their latest product from the popular anime "Laid-Back Camp△SEASON2", the "Shima Rin [Junior High School Ver.]" 1/7 scale figure, with a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY, scheduled for release in December 2022.
The protagonist of the "Laid-Back Camp" series, Shima Rin, is a high school girl who enjoys solo camping during the off-season, attending the same school as Nadeshiko and others. Deeply influenced by her grandfather, Rin began outdoor camping in junior high school and possesses extensive camping knowledge. She loves to ride her scooter alone to camp during the autumn and winter off-season, enjoying the undisturbed tranquility of nature. It wasn't until her unexpected encounter with Nadeshiko that she experienced camping with others. Although very reliable in the wilderness, she is extremely afraid of ghosts and will run frantically, out of breath, if startled.
The "PLUM Shima Rin [Junior High School Ver.]" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 20 cm tall, bringing to life Shima Rin's junior high school appearance from the first episode of "Laid-Back Camp△SEASON2"! Dressed in a youthful sailor uniform, with short hair and a bun, she exudes the innocent cuteness of a middle schooler. Details such as her school bag, the asphalt road of the base, and the weeds growing by the roadside are meticulously sculpted, evoking a scene of her commute to school. Her adorable side pose causes the skirt of her uniform to flutter, creating a light and dynamic feel.
