GOOD SMILE COMPANY's "mascot collection" series in Japan will release a product based on the popular anime "Chainsaw Man": "Pochita," with a reference price of 400 JPY each, scheduled for release in October 2022!
"Chainsaw Man," a dark shonen manga created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of a world overrun by "Devils." The extremely impoverished protagonist, Denji (publisher's translation, phonetic translation is "Dianci"), becomes a Devil Hunter who earns money by slaying Devils to pay off his deceased father's massive debt, collaborating with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita" to hunt Devils. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. This also leads Denji to be noticed by the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division 4."
The "Chainsaw Man Pochita Mascot Collection" faithfully recreates Pochita's round, dog-like appearance.
