Following the release of "Power" and "Pochita" from the popular series "Chainsaw Man," F:NEX, the high-quality figure brand under Japan's Furyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), which boasts a diverse entertainment portfolio, has once again unveiled its latest product: the 1/7 scale figure of "Makima" (マキマ)! Pre-orders are now open at F:NEX and MAPPA ONLINE SHOP, with an estimated shipping date of September 2023.
Makima is a Devil Hunter directly reporting to the Chief Cabinet Secretary, possessing the ability to discern the scent of devils. She also serves as the superior of the protagonist, Denji, in the Tokyo Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4. While she appears gentle and kind, her true nature is far from it, and not only her personality but also her abilities are enigmatic. Many characters in the story are aware of Makima's terrifying and overwhelming strength. Towards Denji, she employs a captivating yet fear-inducing demeanor, driving him to work as a Devil Hunter until his demise.
This F:NEX series figure of Makima stands approximately 25 cm tall, meticulously recreating her in her Public Safety uniform, poised as if unleashing her powers. Every detail, from her distinctive eyes, cool and composed expression, and braided red hair, to the pose with her palms crossed at the wrists, has been faithfully reproduced. The white shirt and black trousers of her uniform are sculpted with realistic wrinkles, subtly revealing the contours of her figure beneath. The captivating floating effect of her tie at the abdomen is particularly striking! The asphalt base, scattered with handguns and splattered with exaggerated blood, effectively conveys Makima's abilities and the world of "Chainsaw Man." This figure is highly recommended for collectors who wish to be "kept"!
