World-renowned film and television special effects company "WETA Workshop" recently announced the latest product from "Stranger Things" under its vinyl figure series "MINI EPICS": the "Wounded Demogorgon"! It is expected to ship in Q1 2023.
The "MINI EPICS Wounded Demogorgon" stands approximately 16.6 cm tall. It is designed based on the scene where the Demogorgon is ambushed and steps into a bear trap. While retaining the Demogorgon's characteristic appearance, it is reinterpreted with the series' unique proportions. In addition to its fully opened, flower-like head, gaunt limbs, and sharp claws, its realistic biological texture is the biggest highlight of this piece! From the reddish hue visible through its pale skin, the dark gradient on its torso, the skin folds on its back, and the wet visual effect of its head, all are exceptionally rendered. Coupled with the heavy, matte metallic feel of the bear trap, the overall piece boasts incredible depth! Although caught in the bear trap, the Demogorgon still exudes a powerful deterrent force! This fully demonstrates that a wounded beast can be even more dangerous.
