BANDAI CANDY, the popular candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from the 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA' series, 'Shining Gundam (Super Mode) & Expansion Parts Set,' based on Mobile Fighter G Gundam, scheduled for release in March 2023.
This product is based on the Shining Gundam body included in the third general release. Inheriting the series' characteristics, it consists of a highly flexible frame structure combined with armor parts featuring high-density details that differ from the original design. All parts are finished with a dark gold paint and bright gold molding color to reproduce the golden glow of the entire body when 'Super Mode' is activated. Weapon accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, beam saber effects, clear Shining Finger effects, and more, allowing for cool poses such as dual-wielding sword spinning attacks, wielding the massive 'Shining Finger Sword,' and performing the special move 'Shining Finger.'
Furthermore, the weapon accessories are compatible with the separately sold general release Shining Gundam, and also include interchangeable hand parts and a beam saber hilt for the general release version, enhancing its playability. Bandai also announced that the 'God Gundam,' currently included in FA Vol. 4, will also be released in a golden Super Mode (Hyper Mode) version, scheduled for 2023.
