BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from the popular "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" series, the "Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam," scheduled for release in Spring 2023.

The MSA-0011 S Gundam from "Gundam Sentinel" is a prototype mobile suit of the Earth Federation Forces developed concurrently with the ZZ Gundam. Its development goal was to create the "ultimate Gundam," a composite armament system designed to surpass existing mobile suits and weapon systems. The S Gundam is equipped with the artificial intelligence "ALICE," which not only assists pilot operations but is also expected to replace pilots in the future to achieve "unmanned MS." Like the ZZ Gundam, the S Gundam also possesses a separable and combinable "Core Fighter System," but the S Gundam can be further strengthened and expanded with different parts to suit mission requirements. It can transform into the highly mobile "Ex-S Gundam" with space cruising capabilities, or become the "Deep Striker" type, which performs hit-and-run tactics like a charging monster.
The "G-FRAME Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam," originally released in 2018, will be re-released as a new product with multiple improvements, the "G-FRAME FA Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam," as the series undergoes a revision and upgrade. The FA version will include new parts and feature a camouflage color scheme. However, only a product silhouette has been released so far, and the specific parts that have been changed are not yet confirmed.
