BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s Collectors Division, known for its "S.H.Figuarts" series of articulated figures that combine excellent sculpting and coloring, has announced its latest product from "Digimon Adventure": "Angewomon" (エンジェウーモン)! It is scheduled for release in April 2023.
Angewomon is a Perfect-level Archangel Digimon, evolved from Gatomon (Tailmon), the partner of the eighth DigiDestined child, Hikari Yagami (Kari Kamiya), through the Crest of Light. She exudes an aura of gentleness and compassion, but when facing evil, Angewomon will fight valiantly with her divine power! Beyond her sacred, goddess-like presence in the Digital World, she is undoubtedly a popular "first love" character from many people's childhoods.
The S.H.Figuarts Angewomon stands approximately 15 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Angewomon's divine appearance from the anime, featuring a white main color scheme accented with pink and golden yellow. Her eight wings, a hallmark of her Perfect-level angelic form, can be posed in various ways thanks to articulated joints. The helmet, metallic chest armor, abdominal and right thigh straps, and the ribbon with feather-like structures at its end are all meticulously reproduced, making her stunning even in a static pose! Additionally, an extra shouting face sculpt, interchangeable hands, and effect parts are included to recreate her iconic special move, "Heaven's Charm" (Holy Arrow).
