BANPRESTO, the toy brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company that excels in showcasing character figures and various prize items, will release the latest product from Yoshihiro Togashi's popular work "Yu Yu Hakusho," the "DXF - Yusuke Urameshi - 30th Anniversary." It is scheduled for release in March 2023 and is currently available for limited pre-order at BANPRESTO partner stores and major toy retailers!
The classic Japanese manga series "Yu Yu Hakusho" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1990 to 1994. The protagonist, Yusuke Urameshi, initially dies in a car accident and unexpectedly becomes a "Spirit Detective." During his missions, he meets the demon fox Kurama and Hiei, who came to the human world from the Demon World, and together with his human best friend from Sarayashiki Junior High, Kazuma Kuwabara, they solve problems involving demons from the Demon World and the human world, becoming comrades. Although it is a 30-year-old work, the announcement in 2022 that Netflix would adapt it into a live-action Japanese drama still generated widespread discussion and attention.
