Max Factory, a renowned Japanese toy and figure manufacturer, under its popular and well-known action figure series "figma," is scheduled to release an action figure product in July 2023 featuring the female character from the RPG game Persona 5 Royal, codenamed "VIOLET," in her alluring Phantom Thief attire – Kasumi Yoshizawa (芳澤かすみ)!
Persona 5 Royal (ペルソナ５ ザ・ロイヤル) is an RPG game released by ATLUS on October 31, 2019. It is an enhanced and revised version based on Persona 5, which was released in 2016, adding new characters and storylines, and improving some game systems. With its unique stylistic flair, it is an authentic Japanese-style turn-based RPG.
Kasumi Yoshizawa is a new character introduced in Persona 5 Royal. She is a graceful and physically beautiful, highly promising rhythmic gymnast scholarship student. After a chance encounter with the protagonist, they agree to a mutually beneficial arrangement, exchanging opinions and teaching each other rhythmic gymnastics, thus establishing their relationship. Initially, she couldn't fully agree with the Phantom Thieves' views. During an incident where she was attacked, coupled with her inner dissatisfaction from the pressures of reality, she awakened her Persona, "Cendrillon," and adopted the codename "VIOLET." Her Phantom Thief outfit features a primary black visual, paired with a black mask, an outer trench coat, and inner attire resembling a leotard. Her weapons include a rapier and a Winchester rifle.
This figma VIOLET Kasumi Yoshizawa is based on her appearance when transformed into her Phantom Thief guise. As a gymnast, her long legs are truly stunning. Her trench coat, which has a strong sense of dynamism in the original work, is designed as articulated parts. For the head parts, she can be displayed wearing her mask or with it removed, and there are three interchangeable facial expressions. Additionally, there are four sets of interchangeable hand parts, and weapon accessories include her beloved rifle and rapier (which also comes with a scabbard). Thanks to figma's excellent articulated joints and the included display stand, her iconic poses from the original work can be faithfully recreated.
