Japanese company ALTER, renowned for its high quality and beloved by collectors of high-end bishoujo figures, today announced the latest product from the popular video game 《Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout》, the new "Reisalin Stout 1/7 Scale Figure", scheduled for release in September 2023.
The endlessly merchandised Reisalin Stout is an ordinary girl with an extraordinary physique. She is somewhat free-spirited, possesses a strong sense of justice, and never compromises on what she believes is right. Ryza, full of curiosity, constantly explores new things and feels uneasy about a dull life, often gathering with her childhood friends to discuss their dreams. One day, Ryza finally decided to pursue excitement and devised a plan to leave the village for an adventure, unexpectedly embarking on an extraordinary journey. During her adventure, she used alchemy to create various tools to overcome difficulties, gradually becoming a full-fledged alchemist.
This "Reisalin Stout 1/7 Scale Figure" released by ALTER is based on her 17-year-old appearance from the first game and is sculpted based on an illustration by Mr. toridamono, bringing Ryza's pose, looking back with a mischievous, squinting smile, to life in three dimensions. The figure faithfully recreates Ryza's voluptuous curves, including her thighs, as well as the flowing design of her outfit as it's caught by the wind, and rich accessory details such as her hair ornaments, bracelet, and potion bottle.
Transparent parts are used in areas such as her hair, top, and arm covers to create a highly translucent effect. Other fabric, leather, and metal parts are rendered with metallic and gradient paintwork to express their material textures and light/shadow variations. This high-quality paintwork delivers a dense amount of detail and a luxurious feel, fully capturing the game's world view and Ryza's character charm.
