The popular 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA' series of candy toys, released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from "Gundam Sentinel", the "Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam", with a scheduled release in April 2023.
The MSA-0011 S Gundam from "Gundam Sentinel" is a prototype mobile suit of the Earth Federation Forces developed concurrently with the ZZ Gundam. Its development goal was to create the "ultimate Gundam" and a composite armament system that surpasses existing MS and weapon systems. The S Gundam is equipped with the artificial intelligence "ALICE," which not only assists pilot operations but is also expected to replace pilots in the future to achieve "unmanned MS." Like the ZZ Gundam, the S Gundam also possesses a separable and combinable "Core Fighter System," but the S Gundam can be further strengthened and expanded with different parts to suit mission requirements. It can transform into the highly mobile "Ex-S Gundam" with space endurance capabilities, or become the "Deep Striker" type, which performs hit-and-run tactics like a charging monster.
The highly popular "G-FRAME FA Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam" is based on the version released in 2018. With the upgraded G-FRAME FA frame, it boasts an even more outstanding sculpt. Previously missing wrist and rear thigh armor are now fully included. The upper body has been re-painted with a cool blue splinter camouflage, presenting high-density details and a powerful physique at a height of 11 cm.
By swapping parts, you can freely choose to assemble either the S Gundam or the Ex-S Gundam. For armament, in addition to the beam saber and beam smart gun, which are the same as the old version, the head and leg incoms are made with new parts. They can recreate their firing state using the three included metal wires!
