Mario and G-SHOCK Spark Infinite 1UP! CASIO to Release Classic DW-5600 Mario Color Scheme Watch

Everyone's favorite Mario, and CASIO G-SHOCK are sparking an infinite 1UP dazzling collaboration! CASIO will launch a Super Mario Bros. version of the G-SHOCK DW-5600 classic watch on November 11th, priced at 17,600 JPY. It features the familiar red as its main visual, paired with nostalgic pixel art and a cute 1UP glow-in-the-dark pattern!

For fans of G-SHOCK, the classic DW-5600 is certainly no stranger. Especially when Keanu Reeves wore it in the movie "Speed," his super cool image in the film greatly boosted its popularity. To this day, the DW-5600 model remains undiminished in popularity, with many derivative versions.

Nintendo's "Super Mario Bros." is an even greater classic in the gaming world. Launched in 1985, this game is simple, fun, and engaging, with vibrant and cute graphics, making it one of Nintendo's most iconic games. Mario's representative red visual established Nintendo's main image, and it remains Nintendo's corporate color to this day.

This cross-over collaboration between two major classic elements has resulted in this special edition watch, combining the classic model with Mario's patterns and color scheme. The model number is "DW-5600SMB-4". Breaking away from the DW-5600's usual dark color schemes, the watch itself is red, while the area around the bezel uses the sky color from Super Mario Bros. levels. The watch band features Mario's pixel art, and the watch face has a cute Koopa Shell pattern. The coolest part is that when you press the backlight button in the dark, the LCD screen will display Mario getting a 1UP!

Additionally, the watch's outer packaging specially features the game's opening screen as its design, and of course, red is used as the main visual color. The overall presentation looks quite exquisite, making it a highly recommended collectible for Nintendo fans!
