BANDAI SPIRITS's TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division has announced the latest product from the Ultraman series, "Ultraman Regulos," for its popular action figure "S.H.Figuarts" series, scheduled for release in May 2023.
First appearing in "Ultraman Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy," Ultraman Regulos is a warrior who once drifted to Planet D60 in the Draco constellation after falling into a state of suspended animation. He lost all memories except his own name. Later, he was taken as a disciple by Master Alude, the grandmaster of Cosmic Beast Fist, and through continuous training, he mastered the Cosmic Beast Fist techniques excelled by his senior disciples. The emblems on his left and right arms are proof of his mastery of the Flame Red Dragon Fist and Electric White Tiger Fist, respectively. Tsuburaya Productions is also set to release a new video work, "ULTRAMANREGULOS," to tell the story of Ultraman Regulos's past.
The "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Regulos" is supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, thoroughly recreating his sharp and cool head sculpt. Metallic colors are used for the chest armor and color timer. Both arms can be replaced with two types of sculpts, with or without the Red Dragon and White Tiger Fist emblems. Each joint features precise articulation, allowing for various poses such as "High-Speed Frozen Leopard Fist," "Soaring Crane Fist," and "Phantom Water Snake Fist" with the abundant interchangeable hand parts. Furthermore, a set of BONUS parts is included to recreate the famous scene of the combined technique "Beast King Fist" with the separately sold "Leo" and "Astra."
