Bandai's GASHAPON brand has announced the second installment in its head gashapon toy series, 『EXCEED MODEL HEAD』, themed around "Mobile Suit Z Gundam". Titled "EXCEED MODEL ZETA HEAD 2", this product is slated for release in the third week of November 2022.
Unlike typical gashapon, the 『EXCEED MODEL』 series of head models, released in gashapon form, does not require separate assembly into an egg capsule. When dispensed from the machine, all parts form a self-contained sphere. Upon disassembling the sphere, you'll find excellently segmented and precisely sculpted head parts. Simple assembly completes a cool Mobile Suit head! Each head features colors and body markings faithful to the original designs, along with an expansion gimmick that reveals the internal structure of the mobile suit, offering an abundance of intricate details.

The lineup for the second wave, "EXCEED MODEL ZETA HEAD 2", includes three mobile suits: MSZ-006 Z Gundam, MSZ-006C1 ZETA plus C1, and MSZ-006A1 ZETA Plus (Test Type Color). The Z Gundam head, making a return, is a Ver.2 version with modified parts to differentiate its facial sculpt from the ZETA plus. The other two ZETA plus series units retain the same sculpt as the first wave, with color variations used to represent the differences between each unit.
