To commemorate the special exhibition "National Treasures of the Tokyo National Museum" held for the 150th anniversary of the Tokyo National Museum's founding, the renowned Japanese brand Kaiyodo has released a venue-exclusive "Important Cultural Property Shakoki Dogu" three-dimensional replica model of the Japanese National Treasure! Allowing collectors to own a 1/3 scale idol from the Jomon period!

"Dogu," a representative artifact of Japan's Jomon period, is currently believed by researchers to be earthenware figures made by the Jomon people to pray for safe childbirth and bountiful harvests. Its rounded physique, prominent breasts, and wide hips are considered female sexual characteristics, possibly symbolizing the worship of the Earth Mother; some scholars also propose a hypothesis that it is not a human figure but rather an ancient plant spirit worship. Among these, the famous Shakoki Dogu unearthed in Aomori Prefecture was named for its eye shape resembling the snow goggles worn by the Inuit to protect their eyes in snowy environments. Its unique form and the intricate patterns on its surface have led many to consider it an OOPArt (Out-of-Place Artifact), rumored to possibly be related to extraterrestrials.

Crafted from weighty Polystone material, it creates a substantial feel and an earthenware-like texture.
