Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS' collectible toy division TAMASHII NATIONS' popular action figure Figuarts new series "Figuarts mini", following the first release based on the popular anime "BLUE LOCK" featuring "Yoichi Isagi and Bachira Meguru", the second wave: "Figuarts mini Nagi Seishiro and Itoshi Rin" will also be released! The suggested retail price is 2,970 JPY each, with an estimated release in April 2023.
The Japanese football manga "BLUE LOCK" (ブルーロック), originally written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, aims to "enable the Japanese national team to win the FIFA World Cup in 2022". The story begins with the controversial "Blue Lock Project", gathering 300 strikers under the age of 18 to train the world's best attacker. Although it is a sports manga, it deviates from the typical themes of team spirit, passion, and friendship, instead integrating a self-centered, competitive battle royale system into football.
The "Figuarts mini Nagi Seishiro and Itoshi Rin" figures feature their uniform designs after entering Blue Lock. The overall design is a cute, approximately 2.5-head-tall chibi style, with a size of about 9cm. They are equipped with articulated joints in the head, hands, shoulders, and feet, and come with interchangeable hand parts, kicking leg parts, and an included dedicated stand to enhance poseability.
