GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan today announced the latest product from their Q-version articulated figure series, "Nendoroid," the "Doll" from the popular action game 《Bloodborne》, scheduled for release in May 2023.
Abandoned in the 「Hunter's Dream」, the Doll Lady is an NPC character in the game who assists players with leveling up. Her existence is shrouded in mystery, and it's unknown who created her. Many players believe her prototype is 「a certain lady」. Her physique is like that of a real human, with long silver-grey hair and a beautiful face. She possesses self-emotions and can act like a human, speaking and interacting with the player-controlled Hunter.
The "Nendoroid Doll Lady" recreates her magnificent costume design from the game in a Q-version, low-head-to-body ratio. The patterns on her shawl are produced using transfer printing. She comes with two interchangeable face plates: 「Standard Face」 and 「Closed-Eyes Face」, both faithfully reproducing the Doll Lady's seemingly inorganic, emotionless expression. Accessories include the 「Lantern」 placed beside the Doll, the 「Hair Ornament」 given to the Doll by the player, and the 「Slug」 form of the Great One that the protagonist becomes in the third ending. With her articulated arms, you can recreate the Doll Lady holding her hands to her abdomen, cradling objects, or even clapping for the Hunter when he strikes a pose!
