The annual event for BANDAI SPIRITS' finished model brand TAMASHII NATIONS, 『TAMASHII NATION 2022』 model exhibition, is set to debut on November 18th. This year will also feature a wealth of new product information, keeping fans eagerly awaiting. Among them, the most iconic alloy model series, "Chogokin Damashii," prematurely released a part of a new product on its official Twitter, but the tweet was deleted shortly after.
While it's unclear if the tweet was deleted due to a mistaken release time, since the item has already appeared, let's take a look. The revealed part of this new product is a curved, triangular prismatic object with a golden finish. Looking at its smooth facets, robots with similar features are rare. The most similar is the protagonist mecha, Gurren Lagann, from the passionate robot anime 《Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann》, whose helmet horns are identical in shape.
Recently, Sentinel's RIOBOT alloy action figure series also released a Gurren Lagann that can recreate its combining mechanism, featuring flexible articulation and a wealth of accessories such as Gurren Wing, Sunglasses Boomerang, and numerous drill effects. If Chogokin Damashii truly releases Gurren Lagann this time, it makes one anticipate whether it will bring an even more astonishing design.
