Speaking of Charr Morita from Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, toy enthusiasts interested in street culture and sports trends are surely familiar with him. Besides his vibrant and lively distinctive style, he actively collaborates with major brands. This year, in particular, his footwear and apparel designs with adidas Originals are truly irresistible. His creative energy at this solo exhibition at The Little Hut can only be described as a volcanic eruption, not only brimming with characteristic elements of street, skateboarding, hip-hop, and unique fashion, but also featuring his reinterpretation of classic icons such as Frankenstein, Japan's Fujin and Raijin (Wind God and Thunder God), and the legendary creature Kappa, among others – truly spectacular!
▼ Animals drawn by Charr Morita are also a major highlight of this Eye Like Dance exhibition! His skateboard dog "SK8 One-Chu" soft vinyl toy, co-produced with Hong Kong's How2work, is also making an appearance in new colors.
