Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) toy series is set to release a Nendoroid action figure of "Alucard" (アルカード), the protagonist from the classic game 《Castlevania: Symphony of the Night》! Scheduled for release in May 2023.
Alucard (アルカード, whose name is "Dracula" spelled backward) is the well-known protagonist of the classic masterpiece Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Although he first appeared in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse during the Famicom era, his appearance in Symphony of the Night presented a much cooler image. As a half-human, half-vampire hybrid, he excels at using swords and other weapons, possesses various transformation abilities similar to his father, and has a righteous heart aligned with humanity. He is an extremely popular character. He later also appeared in the Netflix Castlevania animated series.
This Nendoroid Alucard faithfully recreates his appearance from the game and animated series in a cute, chibi style. He retains his cool long golden hair, paired with an all-black leather outfit, including black attire for both his arms and lower body. For expressions, three interchangeable face plates are included: a standard expression, a combat expression, and a somewhat dazed or bewildered expression. As for accessories, he comes with his beloved sword and shield, a stylish cape that can be attached to his back, a twig for drawing on the ground, a wooden floor base featuring portraits of his parents, and a display stand.
