KONAMI Japan, creator of the globally popular card game 《Yu-Gi-Oh!》, today announced its latest product, "Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Duel Monsters Pot COLLECTION," scheduled for release in September 2023. This product will be exclusively sold through a made-to-order reservation system at official KONAMI stores, including KONAMI STYLE and Satellite Shop.
The "Pot" series of cards is a popular line of Spell Cards that began with 'Pot of Greed' in 1999. Most of these cards, including 'Pot of Benevolence' and 'Pot of Avarice,' are related to drawing cards from the Deck to the hand. The original 'Pot of Greed' allowed players to draw two cards from their Deck to their hand unconditionally, leading to its prohibition since 2006. Beyond their powerful and useful effects, each Pot series card features a distinctive human-like face expression that matches its name, making them highly unique.
This "Pot COLLECTION" will bring all 11 types of Pot series cards and 3 types of Pot of Greed-derived cards to life in three dimensions. Crafted from PVC and ABS materials, these exquisite models will stand approximately 50-80mm tall. They meticulously capture the ornate and distinctive pot body decorations, along with their vivid and individualistic exaggerated expressions. Even the backs of the pots, which are unseen in the card illustrations, are thoroughly recreated. Furthermore, the product will include 14 types of Ultra Parallel Rare OCG cards, making for a truly luxurious package!
