Following the release of "Deadpool Ver.2.0" from Japanese toy brand Kaiyodo's "Amazing Yamaguchi (アメコミヤマグチ)" articulated figure series, known for its astonishing posability, it's now your friendly neighborhood "Spider-Man" (スパイダーマン) making a classic comeback in a brand new 2.0 version! It is scheduled for release in June 2023.
This new sculpt of "Spider-Man Ver.2.0" stands approximately 16 cm tall and features 26 points of articulation. In addition to newly sculpted muscle lines, a metallic sheen paint application on the Spider-Suit, and a more layered spider emblem, the adjustable shoulder blades and better-fitting shoulder design allow collectors to more intuitively achieve dynamic, high-tension poses straight out of the comics! The blue sections of the Spider-Suit show impressive texture detailing, though the metallic paint finish does cause a slight concern; we hope it won't suffer from the severe oiling issues seen in the earlier "Bleeding Edge Armor Iron Man."
Accessories include multiple interchangeable eye parts, interchangeable hands (including web-shooting poses), wall-climbing magnets, various web effects, and web-gliding effect parts. Notably, Kaiyodo has also applied special fluorescent paint to Spider-Man's eyes, chest spider emblem, and effect parts, which is expected to create even more engaging visual effects during play. Furthermore, pre-ordering at Kaiyodo's official stores will grant you a Spider-Sense effect sheet and additional hand parts!
