The annual grand event from BANDAI SPIRITS' collectors toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, "TAMASHII NATION 2022," is set to kick off in Akihabara, Japan, on November 18, 2022. Beyond getting a first look at the latest product prototypes, the various ultra-exclusive opening commemorative items are one of the most anticipated highlights each year. This year's "TAMASHII NATION 2022" will also feature 6 exclusive commemorative items. Is there a product you desire but you don't have the chance to travel to Japan for the festival? Don't worry! Now, PREMIUM BANDAI TAIWAN is launching them simultaneously with Japan!
The 6 exclusive commemorative items launched this time come from series such as "Mobile Suit Gundam," "Kamen Rider," "Super Sentai," and "Ultraman." Not only are there special editions with revamped color schemes, but many are also exclusive models made with numerous newly sculpted parts. If you're not yet clear on what's available, take a look at the brief product introductions below!
■ METAL BUILD STRIKE NOIR GUNDAM (ALTERNATIVE STRIKE Ver.)
This figure utilizes a large number of newly sculpted parts to recreate the "Strike E" and the back-mounted "Noir Striker Pack." It features high-strength die-cast movable joints, a paint job with a profound sense of weight, and includes various beam rifle armaments. The Striker Pack can also be expanded and separated to replicate multiple weapon configurations. The two "Fragarach 3 Beam Blades" hidden in the wings can have their blades detached and equipped with beam blade effects. Similarly, the "Dual Linear Guns" hidden in the wings feature a telescopic and deployment mechanism reminiscent of the Freedom Gundam, allowing for the recreation of a Metal Build original firing mode!
■ THE ROBOT SPIRITS MS-07B GOUF & DODAI YS SET ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~REAL TYPE COLOR~
This product is based on the standard version released in 2016, with its molded plastic colors, paint application, and body markings updated to the Real Type Color version. The Gouf boasts a refined sculpt and excellent articulation. Armaments include a Heat Saber, a shield, and a Heat Rod that can be bent into various shapes. It also comes with effect parts for the Heat Rod's heat signature, the firing state of the 5-barrel finger machine gun, and battle-damaged parts to recreate the famous arm-severing scene. The Dodai YS bomber includes a dedicated stand, landing gear parts, and effect parts for an eight-missile salvo.
■ S.H.Figuarts KAMEN RIDER JACK REVICE
This figure uses newly sculpted parts to recreate the asymmetrical head, shoulders, and other areas, capturing the wild and fierce design. It features a matte black and metallic silver finish with printed patterns to replicate the cool jet-black body and belt details. Accessories include 5 pairs of different interchangeable hands, which, combined with the figure's full range of articulation, allow for posing in various combat stances from the show. The Rolling Vistamp on the belt can also be removed and used as a knuckle duster. Additionally, a bonus part, the Lion Vistamp, is included for use with the separately sold Kamen Rider Revi.
■ S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) KAMEN RIDER 1
Using newly sculpted parts, this figure recreates the origin of Takeshi Hongo's transformation. It has a realistic physique that looks as if an actor is wearing the suit, with meticulously sculpted details on the mask, the "Typhoon" transformation belt, and the wrinkles of the suit. The red scarf is made of woven fabric with an internal wire, allowing for free posing. The figure comes with 4 pairs of interchangeable hands, which, combined with the highly articulated body, allow for recreating cool combat poses and the signature Rider Kick finisher.
■ S.H.Figuarts AVATARO SENTAI DONBROTHERS ZENKAIZER BLACK
This figure recreates the subdued color scheme composed of gold, silver, black, and white. The most distinctive feature of this product is its cape, which is made from an ultra-thin PVC plastic sheet. The handle on the Geartlinger weapon can also be rotated just like the prop in the show. It also includes four pairs of interchangeable hands, allowing you to pose Zenkaizer Black in his calm and collected stances!
■ S.H.Figuarts EVIL TRIGGER
This 150mm figure faithfully recreates the character's appearance from the show. It features a gold, silver, black, and red paint scheme with translucent parts to express its evil-inspired colors. The figure is equipped with joints that maintain its physique while offering excellent articulation, and it can be posed with various interchangeable hands and a replaceable red Color Timer. It also comes with a set of bonus parts for use with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z," allowing you to recreate the RED DAMAGE state when Haruki Natsukawa is possessed by Celebro!
