BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest product from the "MG (Master Grade)" Gunpla series, known for its precisely articulated inner frame, detailed color separation, and flexible articulation. This new item, "MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack Dedicated Display Hanger 2-Piece Set," is part of the "F90 A to Z PROJECT," an equipment completion plan from "Mobile Suit Gundam F90," and is scheduled for release in February 2023. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The greatest feature of the Gundam F90 is its at least 26 types of "Mission Pack" expansion equipment. These can be swapped out according to mission requirements using hardpoints located throughout the entire mobile suit, though a large portion of these settings remained incomplete in the past. The "F90 A to Z PROJECT" is a project to complete the settings for all Mission Packs and commercialize them. Mechanical designer Kunio Okawara was invited to help design previously unreleased Mission Packs, unveiling the truth of the "FORMULA Project" in a new era.
This project has been underway for over 3 years, with as many as 19 types of Mission Packs released. The astonishing number of parts makes both storage and display quite inconvenient. This time, Bandai's "MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack Dedicated Display Hanger 2-Piece Set" supports the storage and display of Gundam F90 series mobile suits and most Mission Packs. It consists of a base, a main support arm, and an adjustable cantilever arm. It also includes metallic-textured name stickers for various Mission Packs, so once applied to the base, each pack is clearly identifiable!
