The robot-themed action figure series 'ROBOT Damashii ver. A.N.I.M.E.', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has once again announced its latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED', the 'Launcher Striker Pack & Effect Parts Set', scheduled for release in April 2023.
The 'Striker Pack System' is an equipment change system utilized by the Earth Alliance Forces for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. Its back can connect to various Striker Packs with distinctive armaments, such as the 'Aile Striker', 'Sword Striker', 'Launcher Striker', 'Lightning Striker', etc., to adapt to different missions and battlefields, achieving the purpose of multi-role functionality. Subsequently, derivative units of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam developed by the Earth Alliance Forces, as well as some mass-produced units, are also compatible with the Striker Pack System.
The 'ROBOT Damashii Launcher Striker Pack & Effect Parts Set ver. A.N.I.M.E.' product includes one Launcher Striker Pack, a set of effect parts, and a dedicated display stand. It can be combined with the separately sold 'ROBOT Damashii Strike Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E.' main unit to form the Launcher Strike Gundam.
The design of the Launcher Striker Pack faithfully recreates its anime setting, meticulously detailing the barrel of the 320mm Ultra High-Impulse Cannon 'Agni', the rotating barrel of the 120mm Anti-Ship Vulcan, and the muzzle of the 350mm Launcher. The effect parts can reproduce the red high-energy beam fired from 'Agni', the muzzle flash from the Anti-Ship Vulcan, and the dust kicked up around the Strike Gundam's feet. When combined with the dedicated display stand, you can recreate dynamic and cool shooting poses!
