MaxFactory, a Japanese toy company, will release an assembly model of the Blood Devil "Power" from the popular anime "Chainsaw Man" under its highly diverse and popular assembly model brand "PLAMAX"! The suggested retail price is 7,700 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2023.
Created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, the dark shonen manga series "Chainsaw Man" tells the story of Denji (publisher's translation, phonetic translation: Denji), a boy who makes a living by slaying devils. After an unexpected rebirth, he gains the new power of a "chainsaw" and joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters to battle various devils. He partners with "Power," a Blood Fiend who also belongs to the Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4 and possesses the ability to create various weapons from her own blood.
Power appears at first glance to be a beautiful girl with blonde hair and golden eyes, featuring prominent devil horns on her head. However, her personality is wild and she refers to herself as "Lord." While she claims to be a "super terrifying devil," she often plays dead or flees when encountering strong enemies. She is short-tempered and habitually lies, and despite having a small bust, she enjoys wearing breast pads to feign a larger chest.
The "PLAMAX Power Assembly Model" stands approximately 20 cm tall after assembly. With multi-color molded parts and tampo-printed facial features, it faithfully recreates Power's distinctive red circle-cross eyes and her Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division uniform, which is only half-tucked in. Even beginner modelers can easily complete it. It includes a blood-formed spear weapon, allowing for different poses.
