Following the release of 'Daiwa Scarlet' and 'Gold Ship' from the popular game 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby,' GOODSMILE COMPANY's Nendoroid series, which boasts over a thousand types of posable figures, is now welcoming 'Nendoroid Tokai Teio'! The suggested retail price is 7,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2023~
The highly popular Uma Musume, Tokai Teio (トウカイテイオー), is based on the real-life Japanese racehorse of the same name, known as the 'Miracle Horse' in the early 1990s. After her debut, she immediately achieved an undefeated double crown but lost the Triple Crown and two Tenno Sho races due to multiple bone fractures. Despite repeated defeats and injuries, she continued to challenge after recovery. Ultimately, after more than a year of rest and against all odds, she made a miraculous comeback at the Arima Kinen, surpassing the favored horse Biwa Hayahide to win the race, thus writing a legendary chapter in history.
The 'Nendoroid Tokai Teio' stands approximately 10 cm tall. This Nendoroid transforms Tokai Teio, who possesses exceptional sensitivity and talent, into an adorable Q-version figure, meticulously recreating her cute racing outfit~ It comes with three interchangeable face plates: an energetic 'smiling face,' a confident 'winking face,' and a slightly disheartened 'dejected face.' Paired with her favorite 'Honey Drink,' a 'Nendoroid Base (Large)' designed with grass, and a 'racetrack' part, you can enjoy recreating the Emperor's active presence on the track!
