BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced today the latest product from the 1/144 scale Gunpla line, the 'HG (High Grade)' series, known for its diverse range of mobile suits: the "HG 1/144 Gundam Rose" from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", scheduled for release in February 2023. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The GF13-009NF Gundam Rose is a MOBILE FIGHTER piloted by George de Sand, the fighter representing Neo France. Its appearance resembles an elegant French guard, painted in the same colors as the Neo French flag. The mobile suit boasts outstanding speed and detection capabilities, primarily employing the "Chevalier Saber" at its waist for elegant sword attacks. However, what truly put Domon on the defensive was the "Rose Bits" concealed within its left shoulder shield. George can control these wireless beam weapons via brainwaves, launching flexible and high-speed omnidirectional attacks, unleashing flower-blizzard-like special moves such as "Rose Scream" and "Rose Hurricane".
28 years after the release of the original 1/144 scale kit in 1994, Bandai is finally releasing this new version of the "HG 1/144 Gundam Rose" with a completely new sculpt. Utilizing the latest part separation technology, the asymmetrical design is expressed through multiple molding colors including white, blue, red, yellow, and gray. The left shoulder cape shield is composed of five sets of parts, each featuring an articulation axis that allows it to expand upwards. The main body's waist and limbs also feature flexible articulation designs, enabling the recreation of elegant combat poses.
The Core Lander part on the back can be separated, and the cockpit can transform into flight mode. The armaments include the Chevalier Saber at the waist and four Rose Bits. The Chevalier Saber's scabbard can be swapped with a blade through part replacement. The Rose Bits are intricately sculpted with petal details and rear thruster designs. The kit also includes a set of clear blue effect parts that can connect to the cape shield, along with a display stand, allowing for the recreation of the Rose Bits launching and unleashing magnificent special moves!
