The popular action figure series 『S.H.Figuarts』, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, recently unveiled the latest painted prototypes from 《Kamen Rider BLACK SUN》: "Kotaro Minami" and "Nobuhiko Akizuki". The release date is yet to be determined.

Exclusively streamed on Amazon Prime Video, 《Kamen Rider BLACK SUN》 was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Japan's popular tokusatsu series 《Kamen Rider》. It returns to the original theme of "monsters" and re-imagines the popular 1987 series 《Kamen Rider BLACK》 with a brand new story, presenting the cruel fate and sorrowful tale of Kotaro Minami and Nobuhiko Akizuki. Popular and highly acclaimed actors Hidetoshi Nishijima and Tomoya Nakamura were invited to star as the two characters of this new generation.

The painted prototypes of "Kotaro Minami" and "Nobuhiko Akizuki" displayed by S.H.Figuarts not only sculpt the two characters' in-show costume designs but also utilize TAMASHII NATIONS' "digital coloring technology" to digitize the in-show likenesses of actors Hidetoshi Nishijima and Tomoya Nakamura, reproducing them on the face parts through printing. The asymmetrical sculpting further captures the essence of the characters from the show. Information regarding other accessories and product details has not yet been announced.
