S.H.MonsterArts "Gamera (1999) Kyoto Decisive Battle Ver." Announced for Commercialization, "Evil God Iris" Prototype Revealed!

Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the 'S.H.MonsterArts' series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with excellent articulation technology, recently announced the commercialization of its latest work from the tokusatsu film "Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris", the "Gamera (1999) Kyoto Decisive Battle Ver.", and also unveiled the painted prototype of "Evil God Iris" for the first time.

The "S.H.MonsterArts Gamera (1999) Kyoto Decisive Battle Ver." is based on a modification of the previously released standard version, though the differences from the standard version have not yet been explained. Recalling the standard version, it came with interchangeable fin-like limbs for flight and a "Flame Palm" effect part. Perhaps the Kyoto Decisive Battle Ver. will include accessories not found in the standard version, recreating iconic scenes from the film such as Gamera's spinning jet flight and his right palm being pierced by Iris.

Meanwhile, the "S.H.MonsterArts Iris" thoroughly recreates its sharp exoskeleton and multiple blue-glowing areas on its front. It features the S.H.MonsterArts series' characteristic precise part separation and numerous articulated joints, with each tentacle also equipped with multiple movable joints, allowing for the recreation of its impressive appearance from the film.
