Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios recently released the latest product in its "Icons" series, a non-scale diorama statue of the "Mosasaurus" from the 2015 film "Jurassic World"! Expected to ship in Q3 2023.
In "Jurassic World," besides the highly popular Velociraptor "Blue" and the eternally classic and cool Tyrannosaurus Rex, the immensely huge Mosasaurus surely left a deep impression on all toy collectors, especially during the park's feeding show where sharks were used as food – its colossal figure bursting out of the water was truly spectacular! This piece dynamically sculpts the Mosasaurus leaping out of the water within a 30 cm wide footprint. Even though the overall size isn't extra-large, it still uses the size contrast with the shark to showcase the Mosasaurus's exaggerated presence. The violently splashing white waves, the rough texture of the Mosasaurus's skin, and the highly biological paintwork inside its mouth are all exquisitely detailed.
▼ The base also features an embossed "Jurassic World" LOGO, making for a more complete display.
