The HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. of Japan, which offers the most diverse range of 1/144 scale Gunpla, recently announced the latest product from the side story manga "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing DUAL STORY G-UNIT": the "HG 1/144 Vayeate Suivant & Mercurius Suivant", scheduled for release in April 2023.
The Vayeate Suivant & Mercurius Suivant are enhanced mobile suits improved by OZ Prize from the Vayeate and Mercurius, used as guard units for the commander's Gundam Aesculapius. Both units continue their past specifications of extreme offense and defense specialization, further enhancing their performance. The Vayeate Suivant adds a power generator and two beam cannons, further strengthening its artillery capabilities. The Mercurius Suivant, on the other hand, doubles the number of "Planet Defensors" to 20 units, greatly increasing the range and strength of its defense. Both units can unleash powerful combat capabilities through coordinated operations.
The "HG 1/144 Vayeate Suivant & Mercurius Suivant" is based on and modified from the previously released HG 1/144 Vayeate and Mercurius kits. It features precise part separation and flexible articulation design, recreating the mobile suit's design with new black and white molding colors and newly sculpted mask-type heads.
The Vayeate Suivant's two beam cannons are also made with new parts and recreate deployable and retractable articulation mechanisms. Furthermore, the Mercurius Suivant's Planet Defensors are increased to 20 units, and a display stand and a new deployment frame are included to simultaneously deploy all 20 Planet Defensors.
