Brilliant Glossy Armor and Intricate Carvings: 'METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE Aura Battler Dunbine Sirbine' Prototype Revealed!

BANDAI SPIRITS' collector toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, recently showcased the long-awaited painted prototype of the latest work, "Sirbine," from its popular METAL BUILD alloy toy series' new spin-off line, 'METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE.' This piece is from 'Aura Battler Dunbine New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE.' Release date is yet to be determined.

The protagonist machine Sirbine from the OVA 'Aura Battler Dunbine New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE' is an Aura Battler that slumbered in the sacred land of "Baraan Baraan." Shion Zaba, the reincarnation of protagonist Sho Zama, pilots this machine to protect Princess Remul, engaging in fierce battles against his arch-nemesis, Black Knight Raban, who pilots the Zwarth. Sirbine's design philosophy is vastly different from other Aura Battlers; it lacks any dashboard equipment. The pilot must wear a helmet and use the powerful Aura Power's "Mind's Eye" to target opponents, thus unleashing its most formidable performance. It can be said to be the prototype for all Dunbine machines.

The "METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE Sirbine" is based on an extended design from mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi's illustrations. In addition to incorporating a modern, tall silhouette and armor segmentation, it also features organic, beetle-like armor curves. It is finished with a brilliant, pearlescent coating, using various metallic colors to express its mechanical structure and ornate golden carvings. Notably, high-density blade structures are crafted on the inner sides of the wings to enhance the mechanical feel, and many joints are made with alloy parts.
