BANDAI SPIRITS Company's Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' popular die-cast toy series METAL BUILD's new spin-off line 'METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE' recently showcased painted prototypes of its latest works from 'Getter Robo': "Shin Getter-1" and "Shin Getter Robo TARAK". Release date is yet to be determined.

'METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE' continues the METAL BUILD series' signature features such as "die-cast parts combined with a profoundly weighty paint finish" and "reinterpreting the design style to match the character," while also adding new designs like "movable exterior armor resembling dragon scales" and "internal structures housing a soul."

The currently displayed prototypes of "Shin Getter-1" and "Shin Getter Robo TARAK" reveal high-density armor line details etched across the entire armor. Transparent green parts are integrated to represent areas where internal mechanisms and Getter Ray light shine through. A rich metallic paint finish provides a profound sense of weight. Numerous joints are crafted from die-cast material, and the sharp wing designs possess a more mechanical feel compared to the original. Both products fundamentally utilize the same base body, with distinct head parts, paint colors, and weapons swapped out. The abdomen clearly features the launch port for the special move "Getter Beam."
