BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY" for their 'MG (Master Grade)' Gunpla series, which features cutting-edge technology, complete part separation, and high posability. The "MG 1/100 Gunner/Slash/Blaze Wizard Set" is scheduled for release in April 2023.
Following the Second Battle of Jachin Due, the Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T. signed the armistice agreement, the "Treaty of Junius". Under the terms of this treaty, both sides were limited in the number of MS, MA, and space battleships they could possess. ZAFT's countermeasure was to achieve multi-purpose functionality with a single mobile suit by changing multiple equipment sets, thereby solving the predicament of insufficient weapon numbers. Among these, the "Wizard System" is an interchangeable backpack system designed for New Millennium series mobile suits such as the Zaku Warrior and Zaku Phantom, including several types of auxiliary equipment like the Gunner, Slash, and Blaze types.
The "MG 1/100 Gunner/Slash/Blaze Wizard Set" bundles the three backpack parts previously released with the Zaku Warrior series mobile suits. The overall design and molded colors remain unchanged, and water-slide decals with body markings are included for use. In addition to being compatible with the already released Zaku Warrior and Zaku Phantom series mobile suits, this product can also be equipped on items such as the "MG 1/100 Eclipse Gundam" and "MG 1/100 Gundam Astray Out Frame D", which include adapter parts in their kits.
