Highly Organic and Ferocious Design with a Powerful Physique! CCP x Ryu Oyama "Phantom Ultimate Sculpt Series Gamera 3 (1999) Unpainted GK Model Kit" Scheduled for June Release!

Japanese model manufacturer CCP recently announced the official launch of its new GK model series, "Phantom Ultimate Sculpt," with the first product being a collaboration with popular Japanese sculptor Ryu Oyama. They will release the latest item from the tokusatsu film "Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris," the "Gamera (1999) Unpainted GK Model Kit," scheduled for release in June 2023.

This product originates from the GK model "Gamera 3 Bust Model" unveiled by sculptor Ryu Oyama at the WONDER FESTIVAL model exhibition in 2014. This Gamera (1999) features high-density skin and carapace details that differ from the original, with a ferociously powerful head sculpt. It was hailed at the time as a "legendary GK model." This new "Phantom Ultimate Sculpt" series aims not only to faithfully reproduce and commercialize details that cannot be achieved with mass-produced molds but also to present Gamera, which was only a bust back then, in its complete full-body form!

The "Gamera (1999) Unpainted GK Model Kit" consists of unpainted, unassembled parts made from PS and PU materials. The burrs on each part have been polished, and fixing pins are embedded, allowing parts to be painted directly without additional cleaning. Once assembled, Gamera boasts an impressive size with a total height of 33cm, a total width of 35cm, and a total length of 72cm. It faithfully reproduces sculptor Ryu Oyama's meticulously detailed rough skin, carapace patterns, and sharp claw and fang sculpts. The extremely ferocious head sculpt evokes the terrifying sight of Shibuya engulfed in flames at the beginning of "Revenge of Iris."
