Following the Ultraman (Lippia), Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 12-inch articulated figure series "FigZero" recently announced its latest product from "Shin Ultraman," the "Ultraman Zoffy," expected to be released in the first quarter of 2023.
Appearing in "Shin Ultraman," Ultraman Zoffy possesses a black and gold body reminiscent of the fourth Ultraman, "NEXT," designed by the late Toru Narita. His personality and stance are completely different from previous iterations of Zoffy in the Ultraman series. In this work, Zoffy is the overseer and arbiter who comes to Earth from the Land of Light to replace Ultraman (Lippia) after the latter breaks a taboo and merges with humanity. He holds no emotions for any race, strictly adheres to the rules of the Land of Light to maintain cosmic order, and unilaterally views Earth's humanity as a threat, even going so far as to activate the "Celestial Suppression Final Weapon, Zetton" to destroy humanity.
The "FigZero Ultraman Zoffy" boasts a large size with a total height of 31 cm. It is constructed from composite materials such as ABS, PVC, POM, and alloy parts, featuring 35 points of articulation throughout the body. The sculpt faithfully reproduces the uncolored timer and dorsal fins, and the slender, elongated physique, similar to Lippia. It is finished with an imposing black and gold paint application. The eyes feature the asymmetrical design seen in the film and include an internal LED light-up mechanism to illuminate them. Accessories include 4 pairs of different interchangeable hands, allowing for recreation of actions and iconic scenes from the film!
