The popular monster figure "Toho 30cm Series," produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, will re-release the dream product "Unit-01 G Awakening Form" PVC figure from the "Godzilla vs. Evangelion" project with a new paint scheme! The suggested retail price is 35,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2023.
The "Toho 30cm Series Godzilla vs. Evangelion Unit-01 G Awakening Form" PVC figure adopts the same specifications as the previously released version, with dimensions of approximately 38 cm in height and 36 cm in length. Based on the concept of "What if G-cells were introduced into EVA Unit-01?", it features a design that combines the image of Unit-01 with Godzilla's iconic large dorsal fins and long tail elements growing from its back, cleverly merging the two! The pose, with its mouth wide open in a roaring cry while intimidating opponents, is full of immense power!
The paint scheme has undergone significant changes, utilizing a purple and green color palette that is more faithful to the anime, and the eyes are now closer to Unit-01's iconic yellow paint. Additionally, an auxiliary display stand has been added to improve stability issues, showcasing an overwhelming presence!
