The Little Hut, an art space jointly created by Hong Kong's How2work and Taiwan's Paradise, is once again hosting a new exhibition this December. This time, it's a solo exhibition of flat paintings by Japanese artist Mai Nagamoto / 長本真衣, titled 【A Little Story Under the Sky】!

Beyond the round-faced cats, there are numerous peculiar monsters and creatures. These characters, crafted by Mai Nagamoto, are not only unrestrained and vibrant but also exude a profound charm that blends cuteness with a touch of mischievous humor. Her brightly colored, boldly dynamic paintings reveal an innocence and boundless imagination reminiscent of a child's mind. Mai Nagamoto also utilizes deep, rich colors and unique brushstrokes to express the depression and anxieties encountered during the process of growing up. In this solo exhibition, 「A Little Story Under the Sky」, each painting will guide toy enthusiasts to experience Mai Nagamoto's little stories under this sky alongside her.
