Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) today announced the latest product in its new everyday-life bishojo plastic model series, 'Sousai Shojo Teien', the 'Takanashi Koyomi [Swimsuit]', scheduled for release in June 2023.
'Sousai Shojo Teien' is a new 1/10 scale plastic model product developed by Kotobukiya in collaboration with popular Japanese illustrator Morikura En. Featuring ordinary yet distinctive high school girls, it highlights five key features: creation, painting, decoration, customization, and collection. You can use different hair, expressions, accessories, and even dedicated parts for various poses to create your favorite female characters. Additionally, by adding separately sold 'AFTER SCHOOL' diorama parts, you can set up rich scenes like dining at a fast-food restaurant or studying at a desk!
The 'Takanashi Koyomi [Swimsuit]' released this time features the literary girl Takanashi Koyomi in a pure white one-piece dress swimsuit, exuding innocence. The articulated body continues the design of previous products, featuring a movable neck joint and flexible limbs, allowing for a wide range of adorable poses. Parts such as the straw hat with a large ribbon and high-heeled sandals are pre-painted. Furthermore, it includes four pre-printed expression parts: 'Winking Face', 'Staring Face', 'Tongue-Out Face', and 'Smiling Face', ensuring a very high level of completion even with a straight build.
Additionally, the accessories include three types of hair parts, three types of bangs parts without glasses, 8 pairs of sculpted hands, bare feet parts, more aesthetically pleasing fixed-pose leg parts, dedicated sitting pose leg parts, four types of unpainted expression parts, expression water-slide decals, a dedicated display base, neck joint parts compatible with the Megami Device series... and other incredibly rich content, allowing you to freely swap out various styles for Takanashi Koyomi to your liking!
