Japanese toy company FREEing (株式会社FREEing) will release a 1/4 scale figure of "Gon Freecss" based on the popular anime "HUNTER×HUNTER". The suggested retail price is 66,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2023!
The manga series "HUNTER×HUNTER", which began serialization in 1998 and is still far from its conclusion, features Gon Freecss as its main protagonist. Growing up on Whale Island surrounded by nature, he was raised solely by his Aunt Mito. After a chance encounter where he learned about his father's exploits, he developed an interest in the Hunter profession. To find his father and fulfill his own dreams, he took the Hunter Exam and embarked on the path to becoming a Hunter.
The "HUNTER×HUNTER Gon Freecss" 1/4 scale figure boasts an overwhelming height of 40 cm. Inspired by memorable battle scenes from the series, it powerfully recreates his combat stance as he prepares to unleash Jajanken. Transparent effect parts are used to replicate the explosion of Nen ability and the surrounding flow; his gritted teeth expression, forward-lunging pose, and muscle movements are also vividly sculpted! Furthermore, his good friend "Killua Zoldyck," who can be displayed alongside him, will also be making an appearance soon, allowing for an even more complete "Hunter" worldview when displayed together!
