The pre-painted plastic model series 『PRIPRA』, released by Japanese model prototype manufacturer M.I.C., recently announced the latest product, "Figure's Meal Vol.8 ~Luxury Funamori~ 1/12 Scale Plastic Model," scheduled for release in March 2023.
The 『Figure's Meal』 series utilizes metal molds produced by 3D metal printers for injection molding, creating plastic models with precisely printed rich colors of ingredients on the parts. It delicately reproduces the colors and luster of ingredients, both raw and cooked, making them look incredibly appetizing. Additionally, the 1/12 scale corresponds to the mainstream size of articulated figures, allowing you to display them with your favorite character models!
The theme for this 『Figure's Meal Vol.8』 is "Funamori (舟盛り)," a luxurious Japanese culinary presentation featuring various delicacies from land and sea arranged on a boat-shaped platter. Utilizing precise molding technology, it reproduces the boat-shaped container and the forms of various ingredients. Through digital printing technology, the wood grain of the container, the marbling of meat slices, the glossy texture of lobster shells and sea bream heads, and the rich colors of various vegetables and decorative plants are vividly rendered. It can be assembled as either a seafood boat or a meat boat, depending on your preference. Just looking at it will make your stomach rumble, so serve up this luxurious dish for your toys!
