BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan today officially unveiled the full scope of its long-anticipated dinosaur-themed assembly model series, "PLANNOSAURUS," with several new products including "Tyrannosaurus," "Triceratops," "Stegosaurus," and "Mosasaurus" slated for sequential release starting January 2023.
The "PLANNOSAURUS" series is an assembly model product suitable for children aged 6 and above, as well as adults. It is supervised by Japanese reptile and dinosaur researcher Kyochi Tomita, thoroughly recreating biological features from the skeleton to the outer skin, and equipped with articulated joints. The assembly process also offers an opportunity to learn about dinosaurs. This series of models can be easily assembled without the need for nippers or adhesive, as parts can be simply detached. The parts are primarily divided into two sections: skeleton and outer skin, allowing for free choice in assembling different appearances. Furthermore, some dinosaurs even include two types of interchangeable parts, scales and feathers, to reflect different scientific theories!
