BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, Japan, today announced the latest product from its highly popular character model kit series "Figure-rise Standard": "Ultraman Decker Flash Type" from "Ultraman Decker", scheduled for release in May 2023.
Ultraman Decker continues the style of Ultraman Trigger, inheriting elements from the masterpiece "Ultraman Dyna" from 25 years ago, while also incorporating numerous new designs and different story developments to create a new generation of "Dyna". The story is set seven years after the previous work, "Ultraman Trigger". The helpful protagonist, Kanata Asumi, bravely fought against the "Spheres" during their attack on Earth but was swallowed. He unexpectedly merged with Ultraman Decker, gaining the ability to transform into a giant of light, and subsequently resolved to join GUTS-SELECT to protect Earth. Decker pays homage to Dyna's original settings, initially possessing three forms: Flash Type, Strong Type, and Miracle Type.
The "Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Decker Flash Type" kit features multiple molded part colors including red, silver, blue, and gold. Through precise part separation technology, the full body colors are largely reproduced, though the nebula-like patterns on the forehead and chest require stickers for replication. This segmented design also provides a wide range of articulation, including the embedded structure of the fins on the back of the neck and the movable shoulder armor, allowing this Decker to be posed in various in-show stances such as transformation sequences and flying.
Accessories include multiple pairs of interchangeable hands, blue and red chest color timers, the weapon "Ultraman Dual Sword," and "Selgend Beam" effect parts. The effect parts utilize PET film to vividly represent the beam's colors, allowing for the recreation of firing poses with dedicated hand parts. The Ultraman Dual Sword features an expansion mechanism for its blade guard, allowing it to replicate both the closed "Trigger Mode" and the expanded "Decker Mode" forms.
