Japan's Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) will release a new product based on the hugely popular anime "SPYxFAMILY": the "Anya Forger & Bond Forger" 1/7 scale PVC figure! The suggested retail price is JPY 17,600, and it is scheduled for release in June 2023.
Anya Forger, formerly 'Subject 007' of a certain organization's human experiments, possesses telepathic abilities. After escaping the research facility, she used the alias 'Anya' and moved between various orphanages and foster homes. She was later adopted by Loid Forger, a spy code-named 'Twilight,' and her adoptive mother is Yor, a professional assassin. The three form a fake family while concealing their true identities from each other, undertaking critical missions that affect the peace between two nations.
Meanwhile, Bond Forger, a dog with precognitive abilities, was 'Experiment 8' created by the 'Apple Project,' an Eastonian organization attempting to create highly intelligent animals. He suffered inhumane treatment from the project's researchers and even fell into the hands of a terrorist organization, almost being used as a 'dog bomb.' After the bomb attack plan failed, he was officially adopted by the Forger family and became Anya's pet.
The "Kotobukiya Anya Forger & Bond Forger" 1/7 scale PVC figure is inspired by a scene from the anime, bringing to life Anya playfully riding the large dog, Bond. Petite Anya points forward with a cute and energetic smile, while Bond, used as a mount, runs cheerfully with a gentle expression. The sculpting meticulously captures Bond's fluffy fur and lively little black paws; Anya's clothing wrinkles and flowing hair also convey a sense of dynamism. Additionally, it comes with an interchangeable "Anya determined face" that confidently charges in this direction, offering a completely different atmosphere when swapped!
