From Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series 'POP UP PARADE', following Tiz Arrior, comes the announcement of the second product from the classic 3DS RPG masterpiece 'Bravely Default Flying Fairy', which celebrates its tenth anniversary: 'Agnes Oblige', scheduled for release in June 2023.
In the role-playing game 'Bravely Default', released by SQUARE ENIX in 2012, Agnes Oblige is a vestal of the 'Crystal Orthodoxy', a faith revered by people since ancient times. She serves the Wind Crystal and is known as the 'Wind Vestal'. After the crystals across the land were corrupted by an encroaching darkness, she embarked on a journey with the crystal fairy Airy. Together with 'Tiz', the miraculous sole survivor of the Great Chasm disaster, 'Ringabel', a young man who lost his memory, and 'Edea', the Grand Marshal's only daughter, they become the Four Warriors of Light fighting against the darkness. They purify the corrupted four elemental crystals across the vast world of Luxendarc, searching for the source that seeks to consume the world.
'POP UP PARADE Agnes Oblige' is based on the artwork by Akihiko Yoshida and the game's chibi-style design. It brings to life the vestal attire that gives a sacred and solemn impression in the early game, meticulously reproducing her flowing long hair, the fluffy texture of her skirt, and the subtle variations in shade across the black parts of her outfit. The figure stands approximately 13 cm tall and is priced at 4,800 JPY (tax included). It is an excellent commemorative item as the game celebrates its 10th anniversary.
