Hong Kong toy brand "DAMTOYS", known for releasing numerous highly realistic and articulated figures, is once again collaborating with Japanese distributor "NAUTS" to release a 1/6 scale articulated figure of one of the popular characters from CAPCOM's "Resident Evil 2 Remake" (BIO HAZARD 2: RE), "Ada Wong"! It is scheduled for release in late February 2023.
Released in 1998, 'Resident Evil 2' featured multiple storyline paths and innovative gameplay, earning widespread praise from players. For many years, there were persistent calls for a remake, but nothing materialized until CAPCOM officially announced the remake project in 2015. On January 25, 2019, the remake was officially launched, featuring refreshed graphics, models, systems, and gameplay, which garnered significant acclaim from many players. By December 2019, game sales had surpassed five million units, exceeding the original's sales record of 4.96 million.

Beyond the protagonists, the female spy Ada Wong, who first appeared in the second installment, is undoubtedly one of the most popular female characters in the series. Her appearance in the remake also brought a refreshing new look. This 1/6 scale articulated figure by DamToys is based on Ada's design from the remake. Her classic red dress, paired with black lining and stockings, exudes maximum allure. Additionally, her trench coat and sunglasses from her initial appearance are also faithfully recreated.
The accessories are also incredibly rich, including a regular pistol, bullets, and multiple sets of interchangeable hand parts, including gloved hands. Furthermore, it includes various small accessories Ada uses in the game, such as an FBI ID, high heels, a special gun, a flash grenade, a bracelet, and a typewriter, among others. It is extremely comprehensive and diverse, highly recommended for friends who love the Resident Evil game and its characters.
