Following the conclusion of the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" Season 1, Japanese company Aniplex (株式会社アニプレックス) announced on its official Twitter that the protagonist, "Hitori Gotoh," would be commercialized! The accompanying image for the announcement was quite mysterious, leaving fans highly anticipating the future design~
With the story centered on the theme "If you're an introvert, play rock!", "Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！) tells the tale of "Hitori Gotoh," a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast. From a young age, she diligently practiced guitar, hoping to become a rock star and gain her classmates' attention! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact with others prevented her dream of forming a band from coming true. She could only transform into "Guitar Hero" and upload guitar videos online until she met Nijika from Shimokitazawa High. Together with Ryo, Ikuyo, and others, they formed the band "Kessoku Band," where she serves as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates nicknamed her Bocchi.
The commercialization image released by Aniplex features scenes from the anime where Bocchi's social anxiety explodes, leading to increasingly abstract forms. These hilarious designs, with sudden shifts in art style and her transforming into Cthulhu (not really) due to her awkwardness, have fans clamoring, "Please make this a reality!" While it's not yet confirmed if the figure will be sculpted exactly as depicted in the image, it is confirmed that Bocchi will be wearing the "Kessoku Band" T-shirt!
