KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese toy company, recently announced the upcoming release of its latest product, "Hresvelgr=Albas," from the popular "Frame Arms Girl" bishoujo plastic model kit series, slated for June 2023.
The highly popular Frame Arms Girl "Hresvelgr" series is the bishoujo-fied form of the transformable Frame Arms "NSG-X1 Hresvelgr," originally designed by Tomotake Kinoshita and reimagined by illustrator Eiji Komatsu. It has previously been released in various specifications, including original, innocent, crimson, and invert, each developing unique weapon systems from the same base body, with even the personalities of different individuals varying. This time, the brand-new jet-black "Hresvelgr=Albas" specification is being re-released, inheriting the characteristic transformation mechanism and featuring a newly designed weapon system.
The "Frame Arms Girl Hresvelgr=Albas" entire model is composed of black-toned molded colors and clear yellow parts. The base body continues the Hresvelgr series' school swimsuit-style armor design. The character's image is a short-haired girl with her right eye covered, and her sharp gaze appears more serious than her other sisters. It comes with three pre-printed face parts: a normal face looking left, a shouting face looking right, and a front-facing open-mouth normal face. Additionally, the included unprinted face parts and water decals can be used to create custom expressions, and there are four interchangeable front hair styles.
The base body's articulation is essentially the same as previous sister units, featuring pull-out shoulder joints and movable upper arms, and includes five pairs of PVC molded hand parts for various poses. The weaponry is modified from the Hresvelgr series; in addition to changes in molded color, it is equipped with the large weapon "Gunblade Lance," previously released as an M.S.G Heavy Weapon Unit accessory. Newly designed leg weapon hangers and wrist auxiliary supports have also been added, allowing for the cool pose of wielding two "Gunblade Lances" simultaneously.
