Produced by Japanese toy manufacturer PLEX and distributed by MEDICOM TOY, the action figure series "REAL ACTION HEROES" (RAH) has released numerous character products from the Kamen Rider series. This series is scheduled to launch in October 2023, featuring the protagonist of the second Kamen Rider work of the Reiwa era, Kamen Rider Saber: the 12-inch action figure of "Kamen Rider Saber Brave Dragon" (仮面ライダーセイバー ブレイブドラゴン)!
Kamen Rider Saber (仮面ライダーセイバー) is the second Kamen Rider series of the Reiwa era. Its theme revolves around "books." In ancient times, there existed an omniscient and omnipotent book, containing immense power. An organization named "Sword of Logos" continuously battled villains attempting to seize this book. The book-loving protagonist, Touma Kamiyama, one day found himself caught in an anomaly, but in doing so, gained the power of the Flame Sword Rekka, transforming into Kamen Rider Saber to defeat his enemies. Subsequently, led by the suddenly appearing Water Swordsman, Rintaro Shindo, he arrived at the Sword of Logos to uncover the truth, and the story gradually unfolded from there.
This RAH series "Kamen Rider Saber Brave Dragon" also boasts an impressive 12-inch (approximately 30 cm) height. Utilizing the "RAH301 Kai" base body, it delivers excellent performance in both sculpting and articulation. The flame-like eyes feature embedded LED components that can light up with LR41 batteries. Its dedicated weapon, the "Flame Sword Rekka," incorporates transparent parts in several areas. The transformation belt on the waist can accommodate Wonder Ride Books, and multiple interchangeable hand parts are included to recreate various sword-holding poses, along with a dedicated display stand. This is a highly comprehensive product, making it a must-have for fans of Kamen Rider Saber.
